Dual Monitor Questions

Hey Hey!!! Hopefully this is the place to get the quickest answers to this. Here's the situation: I've got my computer set up with a Radeon 9200 dual-head card (with VIVO). I hooked up two monitors, got the newest Omega drivers, and even got Ultramon on trial. I got Ultramon to get my taskbar extended across the whole display (only it doesn't exactly do that).

But the real problem is this: When I rebooted after getting all this hooked up, my desktop icons were all on my primary monitor, but the start bar and icons were all on the SECONDARY monitor. I can't get them to go back to normal. Is this just inherent in restarting with the dual-view enabled? Or is there a way to get all my icons and the taskbar on the primary view, and then just have a secondary taskbar (via Ultramon or something) on the secondary monitor?

Help!!! I'm annoyed!

Thanks!

Update: Things work fine when I disable the secondary BEFORE I reboot, but that might be a bit tedious (not that I restart more than once a month ). But I'd still like to know if there's something that will make this easier.

Also, does anybody know if there's a way to play media files (specifically .rm video) full-screen on the secondary monitor? When I drag the player to the secondary, and then full-screen it, it will go full-screen on the primary monitor. Thoughts?

(I found out that only the Real player does this, WMP and Winamp work fine. Is there a Real plugin for Winamp 5 yet?)

I think I'm the only one on this thread. . .

Dunno about all your software, but any window, including Media Player, should be able to be dragged by the corner to fill a space such as your second screen. I think if you hold Shift and click X to close it will remember the setting until it's reset.

Yah, that's about what I have to do with Real files. Oh well, I got the Tara plugin for Winamp, and the border is very small, so it's almost like full-screen. I miss the on-screen controls from the Real player, but I can control WA from my multimedia keyboard, so I guess it's alright.
