Loaded Dell 8600 Arrived w/o Notice - Page 3

I just ordered my 8600 today. The only upgrades I got were the 1.7 wuxga, win xp pro,dvd burner (free upgrade), 512mb (also free), 2nd battery, 64mb usb memory key, 3 yr warranty (gotta last till I finish school) and the 64mb video card. I wish I could have upgraded the video card as well. Anyone know how difficult that would be to upgrade in a few months?

not difficult at all rright now for a 5650 Ebay has em. $229. the 9600 is apin according to those who have tried. You wiill be able to upgrade thogh. If you do go with the Nvidia. yu just pop it in with your current drivers,,,For the Ati, it's abiit more complicated, but doable.

i down loaded the 52.03 drivers and .inf mods. but i did not OC mine.Well I did mess with it, but ral;ly did not see much of a difference so I think I put it back to 226/399 or somrthing.
