Manufacturer Vs Omega ATI Drivers for the Aopen 1557 Series-based Laptops

I'm gonna be getting my notebook soon and I've read how a lot of dell users are using the Omega ATI drivers over the one provided by Dell. Aopen provdes the ATI driver version 6.14.10.6404, while Omega is soon gonna release the new Catalyst 4.1. Omega is suppose to support all mobile radeons, but I'd rather all people using one based on the 1557G or some other one using the 64mb non-pro version have their say. So I'd thought I'd ask ppl which one they use, why they use it, and their performance with it.

I'll be doing a lil testing of my own as soon as mine arrives.

Why don't you just mod ATI drivers to use on your laptop?
