Sager Killed my RAM again

So I unplugged my sager FROM THE WALL and it immediately hard froze... it would not restart so I turned it off and checked the RAM, the RAM died less than 2 months ago and I just got my laptop back after a lengthy international RMA process involving my parents taking it back over christmas then shipping it to a freind of mine APO to save about 200 bucks on shipping... well this time only one of the two RAM Simms died instead of both... but what can I do?.. they obviously did not fix it the last time but this would be the 3rd time sending it in... and the second time for the same problem... I really don't feel like spending any more money to ship it back as it would take about 3 more months to get everything done and by then I would only have 2 more months in Germany... but I am also afraid to buy 2GB or ram while I am over here because I don't know if they laptop will decide to fry it at any time... any suggestions?..

sounds rather weird to me. we have several sagers here from 8887 to 9860ies. never had that prob and most of them dont get treated nicely. unplugging / plugging in is the least of abuse. are you sure you dont have powersurges or the likes causing your probs - even then, i would see other things (like cpu) going before that.
