I checked my email at my office and found a message from Dell with the 10% coupon code. I went online to order an 8600 notebook, but when I got to the checkout I got a red error message from Dell saying that I had timed out and had to start all over again. I couldn't do it then so I went home and tried again at 10:15pm Pacific Time. This time I made it to checkout but was told that the coupon had expired even though it said it was good through January 21. I tried to call customer service/sales at both the home office and small business numbers but got a recording that the offices were closed. I guessing that that the Delol website is set to Texas times which is 2 hours ahead of California time, but the websited certainly doesn't say that anywhere that I saw. I could swear that I have previously telephone ordered a computer from Dell after midnight. Have they cut back? I'll try calling later today to see if they will honor the coupon. If not I'll just wait for another one. I'm not in any rush.
