Ferrari 4005....NO Issues

Thread Starter
After reading some posts of unfortunate owners, fan boys of other notebook brands, outright falsehoods and nubile misconceptions, I have to say:

This is an outstanding machine for general use and gaming (HL2 runs smooth with eye candy, gorgeous graphics puedo gets the machine a little warm after 3 hours of fragging, but that's OK...it's sitting on a Lapcool2 ...but, it does get warm gaming my ass off.....anyone agree? Time to hear some positives

No regrets in this camp for the purchase.

how long you had it. ive had mine 6 monthes+, and problems didnt manifest until 4

I've had mine since september 05 and I've had no issues with it. The only problem is that I can't seem to run Bloodrayne 2 (UK version) using full settings, but that is a problem with the game not the pc.

I've played Fable TLC on it @ max settings and max resolution and I've had no slowdowns. WLAN works fine, screen looks great. One thing that I can't stand is the Matsushita DVD-R because I can't use AnyDVD to region free it.

p.s. can someone email me the ferrari calendar months for 2006?

Apart from Everything I had with my Ferrari(see my recent post abt HDD issue) - it is definetelly a good piece of choice....

Overall perfomance is outstanding - games - movies - programming....

Also just came back to unfinished HL2 & completed the game yesterday - max resolution - just lovely. I'm amazed both by the game and by my Laptop perfomance....

I purchased mine 07-21-05 and to date have had no issues.

I'm happy with mine.

Short of a couple stuck/dead pixels, the only problems I've had have been with XP x64, not the computer itself.

I've had mine since mid-September, and my only problem is that I can't power it on when at work, at the risk of being escorted out by security and not be let back in...
They say it's because they don't want me to copy stuff/security risk...
I just think it's because we're not allowed to smoke in the office :-)
