How much Longer??

Hey guys I ordered my laptop the 23rd of december and today (20th of jan) it says I am on phase 9. Anyone know how much longer it will take for my laptop to ship out? I have been waiting for this bad boy fo eva!!

The next phases after 9 ussually breeze through and get to shipping fast.

This is the timeline in phases for mine:

11/25/03 - phase 1 Sentia ordered, finance forms need to be sent back to AW
12/05/03 - phase 2 The delay to phase 2 was my fault - waiting for forms
??/??/?? - phase 3
12/06/03 - phase 4
12/09/03 - phase 5
12/12/03 - phase 6
12/15/03 - phase 7
12/17/03 - phase 8
12/20/03 - phase 9
12/23/03 - phase 13

I hit phase 9 last night, order mine on 12/22/03. talked to Alienware and they said it will ship this week. so you should get it by monday or tuesday of next week.

I'm in UK, my phases are of now:

Phase 1 @ 14th Jan
Phase 4 @ 17th/18th Jan
Phase 9 @ 19th Jan
Phase 14 @ Today

I hit phase 9 last Thursday(1/15), and mine shipped today(1/20)! I'm in US. It's shipping from Florida and I'm in California. Estimated delivery is 1/23.

Mine shipped from Florida to California too (2 days). I know its in town now but I don't know when itll get dropped off. I ordered on 1/12/04 and its getting here on 1/20/04 The wait is different for everyone. Some people go through the process slowly while others get processed quickly. It really doesnt have a set schedule. Seems kinda unfair for some people, (but I'm not complaining!!)

Robo is getting his today after only a week

I ordered mine yesterday (same spec I think, confirm that Robo) so I will keep you posted on mine.

I think it maybe that demand in the UK is not as much as the US so the parts are ready and waiting!!! The US seems to have a large backlog over the Xmas period.

Also you guys in the US pay a lot less than we do in the UK. I could of bought mine in the US and had a return flight and included for the same money.

I could be totally wrong but I think that is the issue.
