hello i have a hp zd7020 and im trying to troubleshoot whats is wrong with it. i cant seem to find if the video card is dead.
if my whole system has no ram in it will it display video and boot?
i dont have ram in it right now or a lcd or the inverter, basically the motherboard is sitting on my desk
so im trying to see if i get video on the vga out but i cant. i also have a emachines laptop ram pc2700 i could put in it.to see if it works but is there a chance i could wreck the ram
and i press the fn and the key to switch to external display and nothing happens
