I just can't see it being possible - despite wishing it would very badly.
Here is my question to you, what percent of the people that buy laptops do you really think plan on upgrading their CPU, now before u answer that I don’t mean like us computer people that know its not that hard to do and have no problem taking apart something that cost $1500. im talking about the regular consumer that just wants a laptop and probably knows nothing really about them and how they work. Majority of the market is these kinds of people. So should Intel really go out of its way to shout it out loud to us smaller percent that would actually do the upgrade? I see your point and im not saying you are wrong I was just bringing up the point that the main market for Intel is people that know nothing really about computer let alone know u can upgrade one CPU to another, so maybe Intel feels no need to come out and say “hey u can put this in your core duo. Cause to those people that know nothing they will be like ya okay I don’t care cause I have no idea how to do that lol
Just what I think, I hope some of what I wrote makes sense because it’s late and im tired and don’t feel like rereading it lol so I hope u get what im trying to say.
