Hi, I am doing some research on the progression of laptop technology....and long story short- what was the highest processor/memory/screen you could get in the old design of the area-51m? would the following specs have to be a redesigned model or could it be an older one? if someone could give me a simple "new" or "old" i would appreciate it, thanks. Intel. Pentium. 4 Processor 3.2GHz 800MHz FSB w/ 512KB, and 1024MB DDR PC-3200 - 2x512 SO-DIMMs, AREA-51M NVIDIA FX go5600 Module with 128MB DDR, and 16.1" UltraXGA 1600x1200 LCD Display.

The specs you have mentioned are on the new design. Ditch the Nvidia as that is now old!!!!
Ati do the 9600 Pro which is the default norm... UK anyway, they have ditched the Nvidia. Think the Nvidia 5700 is about to be released and also I have heard that ATi are doing a 9700/9800 version of their card.
If anyone can confirm this then let us know.
