Hi everyone!
I have been reading this forum for a couple of months, since I bought my 9300 back in August 2005, and I have learned a great deal from you guys. Thank you for that
So this is my first thread I've started, hopefully you can help me!
Today, I bought an external harddrive, cause my 60GB 7200rpm internal HDD is running out of space. After looking around in the stores for a while, I finally bought a Philips 40GB 4200rpm.
After bringing it home and installing it, I looked through the manual where they gave intructions on how to do a format by going to Control panel - Computer Management - Disc Management, and there choosing to format. But when I was in there, I noticed that my System disc C: had 3 partitions, and one of them was "Unallocated" and was 2.75 GB! (See pic). What is it for? Is it used by the system somehow, or can I remove it and use it?
My finger was really itching to click "Remove partition" to gain those extra GB:s, so please tell me what to do before I do something really stupid!
