Well Thats The thing , i have Contacted Sony , Is This Something Normal , Thats sony Sucks Actually in There Vaio Fe moniters , Or Iam Just Unlucky ?

yea, this issue is definatgly odd, as i bought the sony in mind that it has onne of the better displays on the market, and that was the most important part of having a mobile laptop.

the fact that the second laptop best buy gave me has the same issue is cause for concern

let us know if you're new laptop theyt give u has the same issue

i had to personally show the geek squad tech , that i had this problem because he initially said there was nothing wrong!!, but when i showed him he finally realized and they gave me a new lap top

Well there Is One thing You said That You Get Orange Color On The Corner Am i Rite ? Well i Dont Get That On my Sony, The Main reason You get The Orange Display, Becuase you Have something Magnetic near The Moniter , That What Causes that , for Example Mobile , Speakers , stuff Like That , Just Make Sure What Items You Have Near The Moniter.


If Its Nothing To do With that , then i guess its from the moniter it self. i feel bad that i have to return it and wait all this time , but just give me another company that make stylish laptops plus 2000$ price range and 2.0duo core etc. thats why i choose Sony Fe , I Wanted The Mac Book Pro , But I Heared It Was very Slow In Windows , And Very Hot In Heating Problems ! Etc. (1st Generation Intel CPU) Not A Smart Idea/

actually it isnt magnets or monitors.. i took it back to best buy and they noticed it on my second FE.. they consider it a manufacturing defect and were willing to refund my money 100 percent.. even the display model had the issue of the screen having those spaces on the edges and corner.. but the other sony models did not. this is the FE550G configuration that best buy sells.

it sucks, i really liked the laptop besides this flaw

Exactly i Went Through The Same Thing , Because i ordered through sony style , and my laptop is customized on my specs. they have to open it and reconfigure etc. but even though when the laptop is ready to ship out it goes through assurance, And they have to make sure that the laptop is perfectly built with no problems or issue , example moniter is not in the rite place , mic is not working etc. So that what mainly pisses me off , but anyway they have send per paid shipping to collect it from my location back to sony , and i have to replace the order over again , and i really wish nothing happens with my new sony , because totaly i have been delayed alot, and waiting, but still, truly love the sony Fe 590 Look.

well, i love the laptop.. it has the best display i have ever seen on a notebook computer! i had a hard time parting with it, but i just cant stand the issue the best buy FE's have. i got $1595 refunded to me, and i have no idea what i should get now!

Well The First Thing You Said That You got The Fe 550 Am i Correct ?

I Never tried The 550 , But The One Im gonna Get Is The 590 Which Is 500$ More expensive , Becuase Of The 2.0 Duo Core , And 160Gb etc.


What I Would Recommend, I Feel Bad that each laptop your getting From sony has the same problem ???? :*( , But what i would say is that if you would like to purchase from sony style directly , they have the fe 590 about 1600$ 1.8Duo , and alot of Ram , plus alot of hard disk , plus its good to go , or if you wish you can always customize one like i did. But when you purchase directly from sonystyle.com , you will get there full support if anything happens to you laptop or anything wrong with it when you recieve it.


Anyway i wish you good luck my friend in your decisions
