Qosmio F25 Review - unclebrudy - Page 2

Unclebrudy, any thoughts on Qosmio F15 AV201? PDF in the Toshiba site's
say's 450 cd/m2. That's more than double than F25 plus the F15 have a
Bluetooth built-in, and 128MB of video RAM but no Core Duo. Seen one on sale
at ubid. Cheers...

Thanks and regards,
roar

rodarapan, that is a stellar laptop. It is basically the way the mid-end Qosmio is supposed to be represented, but I am under the assumption that the US' version is lower spec'd because of meeting a specific market price point. And you're right, it is more than double the brightness of mine because it has dual-backlights, which look nothing short of beautiful. The 128mb of discrete memory will help A LOT when running games at the LCD's native resolution. I say get it if you can afford it, you won't be dissappointed (don't forget to right up a little review here @ NBF...we're sorely lacking an F15 review!)

yo chode! My man, how you doing? 3DMark05 run was a hair under 2,100, but that was with Toshiba's stock driver (read: old) and with all the bloatware running full blast in the background, sucking up my cycles. I haven't run 06 yet, and probably won't get around to running a clean 05 because I'm in the process of selling this beauty and am currently restoring it.
