Okay, this is the first time to play with a lappy. Make a long story short > wife has a "older" AX-7 with the 754 mobo. Being used to desktops only, with out looking at the system purchased a linksys WPC54GX wireless adapter. So where the h**l do I plug this thing in?

If it's a Mini PCI module, you should be able to install it underneath the laptop "L" shaped panel.

i remember when i gave a friend a wifi card to borrow and when i put it in he was like "whoa where the hell did you stick that ,i didnt know that was there"

theres a small square button to press to eject the protective dummy plate(if you still have it) and thats where the card goes

That's the critter! The AX7 is (was?) a Sager 9750(?). You don’t know how many times I turned the beast around and around trying to find that slot! The system has a custom paint job and it may have just blended in. Am at work now, but will surely check it out when I get home later this morning!! Thanks for the help!!

BTW, the case should not have changed in that aspect since summer or last year correct?

Thanks for the come back, when I got home this morning I found tje slot right off the bat! It's amazing what one can miss when they are tired.

Just got home from honey do errands with the wife and will get some z's (only had 3 hrs of z's since 09:00 yesterday! ) then I'll hook it up, load the software, and see what happens.

Again thanks & I'll post some shots later.
