Installing Intel Active Matrix on my 8200.

Thread Starter
I just bought a new laptop (Acer 8200) and it supports Intel Active Matrix and Intel Application Accelerator, for which I've read help increase battery life on the new Core Duos.

To install these I have to enable AHCI, but I've NO CLUE how and where to do it.

I just formatted my Acer and need help installing this.

THANKS !!!

Huh... Hadn't heard anything like that. Do you have a reference for the part about increasing battery life? That would be a much appreciated link...

Oh my god they have stolen SpeedswitchXP, or I guess they might have licensed it. Btw I'm guessing this cause the task tray icons are identical.
