believe i have narrowed it down to raid driver...
could not load xp on the raid 0....have it now where xp is on my primary and my second hd is a slave...
going to try via raid drivers tonight and see if it fixes the issue

Good luck - I know on my desktop the only way I can load the raid drivers is with the floppy - which I fail to understand, but the same thing goes for my husband's computer...maybe someone can explain...

so hypothetical...
since the raid thing doesnt seem to want to work...
what is the chance i coudl send the hard drives back and get a couple bigger drives as master/slave instead of raid 0..
