Any Sager user in Finland???

Thread Starter
Hi,

I am looking for somebody in this forum who owns a Sager laptop lives in Finland. I live in Helsinki. I have a problem with my display and looking for some technician. Many of the shops in Helsinki haven't heard of Sager. So, if anybody is out there and knows about some laptop repair service shop, please help me out.

My problem is discussed here :

Though the problem has reduced after BIOS upgrade, it is reappearing occasionally.

I live in Sweden and you cannot find Sager here either. The OEM name is Clevo and the nearest agent is in Germany. There are lot of other namnes on these notebooks like Alienware, Bacoc, Cyber-Systems, Nexoc, Smartbook, Wortmann, Medion, Euronom, Titan etc. Maybe you can find one of them in Finland?

You might want to try emailing Clevo directly and see if they can't at least give you some sort of advice (not sure if they will, but it doesn't hurt to try).

terveisia

Tho i am from Finland, I am currently living in the US (moving back to Germany in a month). My NP5720 should arrive within the week

My suggestion would be to
-follow the advice u got so far ask Sager/Clevo for reseller/company names that may know something about their laptop.

-did ur notebook come with a warranty (international or otherwise). that company (Philips M, Warrentech, etc) would probably know where the nearest certified repaire shop is.

-im not sure but maybe a fresh format/reinstall would help. and literally from scratch (BIOS). it may be a driver incompatibility issue, or something like that.

-lastly, i would recommend you go to the technical institute/university. Either talk to one of ur friends that goes there, or flirt a bit with a local nerd, and see if someone there can help u - at least tell u where the problem lies. They may also have contacts to a local shop - if its screen hardware related, and u dont have a warranty, i dont think its sooo important that take it to a Sager/Clevo shop. but maybe its just me.

paljon onnea
