I just got a screen protector from http://www.shaggymac.com/
($12.95) for my msi 1029. I travel with my 1029 a lot and I was starting to see keyboard marks on the lcd. It's the best $12.95 I have ever spent on a laptop part. I wish I had one of these when I had my thinkpad t41. It makes closing the lid a little bit harder but well worth it. I hate keyboard marks on my screen. I would like to add that I am a sys admin and one of my functions is to support remote users and their laptops. Every single laptop that comes across my desk has keyboard marks, touchpad button marks and if the laptop has the eraser, then those marks too, on the screens. It doesn't matter if they are Dell D600's, D610's or D800's. Most of the IBM 600e's, 600x's, T30's, T40's, T41's and T42's have keyboard marks on the LCD's too. So it doesn't matter if your laptop is new or not, it depends on how you use it.
