"what u hear" option for audio recording.

Has anyone had enough experience to mess around with a sound recording and such? I want to know how to record audio from what your speakers hear without using a microphone or anything basically like the "what u hear" option some computers have, I don't have a very fancy sound card in my laptop, I own the mx7515 to be exact.

If anyone knows a way to record window's streaming audio with a program or other way, I would apreciate it very much if you helped me out.

Thats easy, double click the speaker thing in ur task bar, or open the audio propeties some other way.

Then go to options>properies>click recording>and put a check in the box under stero mix is checked

then open your sound program, liek adobe audition or cool edit(google em) file>new:::::: pick your settings, the hit record to record what ur speakers hear

Adobe audition > cool edit, use it all the time, but what I really want to do is while using msn messenger on the voice microphone to feed audio, clicking audio mixer didn't move the dB bar at all, thx anyways.

All youd have to do is set ur mic settings on msn to transfer audio from the stereo from the stero mix or your speakers, insteas of your mic...You can do it in the options of msn.
