Aspire 5652WLMi Recovery (HELP PLZ!!!)

Hi to all,

I have bought an Aspire 5652WLMi. It was shiped with Windows XP Home Greek and i wanted to install Windows XP Pro Eng because it is supposed to be used inside a company Domain. For that reason, i booted the notebook for the first time but i didn't wait to logginto Windows in order to see that i had the ability to create a Recovery CD from eRecovery. Unfortunately, i deleted both partitions (C: and D but not th hidden one. I installed the OS i needed and then i searched for the Support CDs in the package. Surprize....!!! There weren't any...!!! I contacted Acer Help Line and they insisted that i should have created the Recovery CDs myself. Anyway i searched the Acer website to find the appropriate drivers but...there weren't any there also...!!! Finally, yesterdey, they published the Drivers (although i had already managed to setup the Notebook with drivers from other models, and a modded NVIDIA Driver...!!!). I downloaded them again and reinstalled them. The Arcade...Where is the Arcade????? I contacted Acer again and they couldn't find me a solution.

Is there anyone who can help me??? Unfortunately there isn't any version published for any Acer Notebook.

What can i do???

I tried to recover the system with the Alt+F10 solution but i didn't have any luck either. I Ghosted the hidden partition to an external disk, unpartitioned the hole disk, Ghosted again th hidden, tried to recover again, but no Boot either...!!! (As mentioned here: http://www.notebookforums.com/showthread.php?t=137564 )

Plz guys... someone must know something or even could anyone upload the Arcade somewhere from its own CD?

Thank you all...

Acer arcade is only the media centre like addon, its not necessary for a stable notebook, however if you do intend on using it, a nice email to acer should point you in the right direction, just state instead of I removed default install and didnt make a dvd, tell them that your recovery disk is damaged which is why you were using an oem disc.

they might be able to help you extract it from the recovery partition which you say is still there.

Good Luck
