nVidia GeForce Go 7800 (G70M) was released on January 5th. The GeForce Go 7800 is based on the GeForce Go 7800 GTX, but runs at a lower clockspeed and features 20 pixel shader pipelines rather than 24.

So the Q1 2006 date was only for the non-GTX card.

More on http://www.mikeshardware.co.uk/GPURoadmap.htm.

Wow, what is the point of getting a 2" thick monster laptop and not getting a smoking video card? The 9400 is basically junk now.

x1400? They could have at least gone with an x1600 or x1800.
