It's madness! madness I say!

Seriously, when are we going to draw the line... that it rediculously big. Also, WSXGA, you would think with that big of a display they would opt for the highest resolution possible. Then again, they're just starting to work with displays of that size.

no thank you. I like my laptops to be portable and not have a battery life of 30 minutes.

Interesting though that they are using the turion processor for this notebook.

There are no 19" WUXGA screens available for laptops available yet

Good thing this is a DTR and not a laptop . There are curently no other mobile chipsets out that support SLI, hence the Turion.

BTW Preorders are UP:

The notebooks are still in testing at Sager and haven't gone to our phase of abuse yet . As soon as we we do expect an extensive review.

Will this motherboard be able to take the dual-core Turions coming out in a few months? If so this would be hard to beat for being "futureproof"...

That would require a differnt socket and chipset, so it will not be support on this system.

I really wished they used an AMD Athlon Dual Core, but it's still frecking fast. Any PROPER benchies? Rock announced theirs yesterday (Be out sometime in 2136 knowing them *sigh*) and they had some stupid 1680x1050 4x aa bench in 03 :/

So really, it's big and doesn't have a great processor as i'd like (imo). I think i'll stick with D900Ts and D900Ks (9890s and 9750s) thanks :P I bet that things going to be hot. And also, I hear theres going to be a Go 7900 GTX, so it's a bit of a waste of money getting 7800 GTXs, I GUESS.

The nForce4 chipset is ready for DDR2 Athlon 64 processors because the memory controller is integrated in the processor. They just have to update the motherboard with the new AM2 socket and DDR2 memory slots.

Nice thing. Is there also a 17" option in planing (like 5720 and 5320)?
