The Quadro 1400 Go (MJ-12m 7700) will perform OpenGL rendering tasks very well. It games at the 6800 level for the most part. Nice card in my opinion. PM me if you want more info on benchmarks or such.

Underneath

Found a picture of a mALX clone underbelly. Guess it should look the same except 7900GTX instead of 7800GTX

My friend seems to think that the mALX has liquid nitrogen cooling. By the look of these pics it doesn't. Am I wrong?
no it does not have liquid nitro cooling...but OMFG if it did!

I haven't really skimmed the rules on this board to well so I'm probably breaking some rule for this random ass post but Craig your last reply was so funny that honest to god I fell out of my chair. Scout's honor my ass hit the floor like a brick no joke

Here is a review and some Awesome pictures of the sager 5950 (mALX sister)
Very detailed pictures. Looks like they really tried to control heat issues.
Nice quiet fans too.

Holy crap heh...what a notebook...or shall I say portable desktop. I went through the wait process for the 7700m a little over a year ago. This new system is so tempting.. ... ...

I own that 5950 and I must say, I have no idea why hard core gamers do not own it, it is totally awesome! Couple new things I found out about it, I emailed Sager about adding full speed fan keys like the other laptops (7700 or 9860-9890's), they emailed me back and said it has it, it was one of the FN-keys not listed in the book, turns out it was simple FN+1 for full speed fans if your into fully overclocking the machine and gaming to the extreme! The biggest news I got was notification from Sager that I could upgrade to the 7900GTX's inside the first 30 days with my laptop for only 155$...Man... I AM ALL OVER THAT!.. Juicy gaming. BTW, those bottom pictures of the 5950 would be the same with either set of video cards, they look identical, and use the same heatsinks. NO hardware midifications required.

I figured you guys would want to know the ODM for this notebook. It's Arima. AFAIK at least

Oh, and it's MXM AFAIK!
Arima is the ODM for the 17" model. Clevo is the ODM for the 19" model.

Heat and Noise?

Sweet looking laptop. My concern is how hot and loud does this baby run? I like the power but I don't want a lot of noise. I am thinking of going with the XPS M1710 as it has great reviews and is said to run pretty quiet and efficiently. What do y'all think?
