I know Media Experience allows you to press the Play button when the laptop is off to go directly to the desktop, but is there really a difference? I don't see them...any ideas?

MCE 2005 lets you watch TV, record it, listen to music, etc all in its own interface. Of course, you need the proper hardware to use some function (TV tuner, etc)

No, I mean when you have it off, if you press the Play button, it boots up really fast to the desktop to play media....how is it different then simply clicking the Media Center icon?
