This is an awesome mouse with an excellent grip for a mid sized to large size hand. Right-handed, comfortable, trendy, upscale, red, responsive, functional, task oriented. Overall A+++

No, because the laptop connections are "OUT", meaning that they send information to a screen to be posted. They are not "IN" connections that accept information and then display it on its screen.
Like the back of ur desktop, u cant plug in ur latop to there and expect it to show up on the screen because thats an OUT connection. U have to plug it into the monitor which is the "IN"
Hence, why the its called S Video Out and VGA Out in ur specs.

There is an open source app (forgot the name, just google it) that lets you use your laptop screen as a 2nd monitor for your desktop over a network. It just runs client/server software on each machine...I suppose if you wanted to use it as your only monitor you could try using remote desktop to setup the software on the tower...worth a shot I guess
