My PowerMizer works all right. I can use RivaTuner to check the frequencies and I see a change depending on my settings. Maybe you should remove the drivers, run DriverCleaner Pro and then reinstall.
well i was tempted to do so, but i did the easy thing first. Iremoved the battery, booted up, used it for a while, and later put the battery back on. upon booting it detected they battery and powermizer recognized it, now i can use the balanced profile on battery power. TXS for the opinion. I hope this help anyone with a similar problem.
