Sentia 3200m Fan Control

Hi all,

I just recently got myself a m3200. Overall, i love it. But one annoying thing is that the fan seems to always be on. Is there a software or some settings that you can set to not have it turned on around all the time..?

Thanks.

well if you press the "P" button it turns down the speed of the processors and thus the fan will slow down or turn off

You can also go into the BIOS and change the "High Performance Mode" setting to Disabled. If Enabled (which is default), this setting allows the processor to be slightly overclocked, thereby generating more heat. If High Performance Mode is disabled, you still get full "actual" processor speed with less fan activity. Although, if you want to run silently, the P-button's Silent Mode is the best way to go (you just lose ~1/2 your processing speed).

Slight hijack...but maybe thats why my pinmod is pushing out 2.24ghz instead of the expected 2.13?
