I spokr to dell trying to order my 9400 and they said that the n 7800 cards will be ready in mid april,thev've even pulled them off the website now,so i won't be ordering for awhile(bummer!)who knows what there up to.(this post applies to the aust web site!).

Well like I said on my previous posts, my machine according to the website has not even made it out of pre-production, although when you call it says its in the build stage, with 04/05/06 as the receive date. Of course if I knew it was going to take 30 days to get a laptop I would have just passed on it to begin with.

I ordered from a guy with super high feedback on e-bay, and it will be here this Wednesday.... =)

Screw dell and their crappy response, and customer information service. Nothing when I ordered said it would take this long......... My i9300 too 6 days from the time it was placed in the kitting stage. I am now in 21 days.

I completely understand the process of supply and demand, but for Christs sake, if my order is going so slow becuse of the availability of the Vid card then at least send me notice of what is going on....

yea, dell bringing back the 7800 in mid-april . i was also told over the phone that a 7600 could be in the works. (for the 6400)

Oh....... ok.....

That explains why i can't see the 7800 vid card being offered with the 9400 on the Oz site….. looks like I’ll have to wait before even thinking about upgrading.

Mine is in PreProduction since 1 of March, the date for delivery is this Friday 24 .. lets see what it happens. I've ordered it before this shortage of 7800. I live in Spain, i heard some rumours that some factories in europe were shutdown and now they have to come from outside Europe .. don't know if this is real or not.

Still waiting .. they told me it would take 7 days .. pffff

i just talked to dell ( in norway ) and i cant get 7800 card. however the salesman offered me to buy it WITHOUT a screencard. and i could buy the vidcard myself somewhere ells.
is there any way/where to buy a vidcard off the shelf like that?
the whole deal sound a bit scary :S

Confirmed .. the 7800 just disapeared from the Dell Spanish order site .. this is really getting scary.
