Aluminum Notebook Cooler, USB 2.0 4 Port Hub Review - Page 2

It should cost 100$ inc. shipping to Finland to order the cooler pad from extremegeek.

I found one cheaper model here in Finland.

Anyone have any experince with this model:

Or do I need any cooler pad when I upgrade to the new bios?

I'm delighted to see this review. I was thumbing through their catalog and thought about ordering one, but I wasn't certain how well they worked. Thanks!

usrbingeek.

Quick question. Have you notice a fan speed difference on the cooling pad between using the USB power than the power adaptor? I am only using the USB right now due to not have a 220v adaptor. Not sure if it is worth buying the adaptor or not.

Any information (from others as well) would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

No, no difference.

Thanks for the reply. I wasn't sure if they run faster when plugged into a power source rather than the USB. I'm happy.

In my opinion the antec's construction has some flaws that causes it to easily break, especially with a heavy laptop on it like the 8790.

hmmm what do u think is the maximum weight it can take??? my laptops about 7 pounds..... is that a lil too heavy for it??

Sager 8790 laptop is about 9-10lbs. So a little 7 lbs is fine.
