i tend to agree w/ the 3rd party comment re: mice. the stock mice that came w/ my parents' emachines (1 and 2 x-mases ago respectively) were still ball mice, and if i remember correctly, one was lacking a scroll wheel. if i were to get a desktop Mac i'd likely use my extra logitech mx700 with it. heck given that the paint on it is so worn down i'd probably repaint it white and silver to compliment the Mac.
the mighty mouse for all it's hype is still an entry level device, why u would name it's faults and not the faults of all the other entry level mice that will similarly, just get u by, escapes me. on my PC or Mac, my mouse of choice has 6+ buttons. if u know of such a PC mouse that ships w/ a stock brand name system, feel free to provide a link.
