3DMark05 Score

hi, i have a new dual core Toshiba system:
T2400, X1600 128mb, 1GB DDR2, etc..

The problem is that i only score around 2500 in 3DMark05. is it normal ? i see some benchmarks where the X1600 scores a lot more (not Toshiba's notebooks).

the ati x1600 has been downclocked to conserve power and heat.. it runs at 400MHz Core and 380MHz Memory.. the ones with the higher scores run at 470MHz/500MHz clock speeds.. that makes a huge difference... you can attempt to overclock it.. but it will void your warranty.. I overclocked the x1600 that i had in my notebook before i returned the system and acceived 3000+ 3DMarks.. so it wasnt too bad...
