Inspiron 8200 Benchmark - Page 2

i had a i8200 with 2.5ghzp4-m 1024mb ram, quadro4 700, 7k60 and my machine was still only pulling a little over 10000 in 3dmark01. i toasted the card though but it didnt matter since i had gotten it for free. 10000 is ok but for me to justify the cost of it.

My results with an overclocked 2,4GHz P4-mobile at:

2,54GHz and Gogl 700 @ 277/572 MHz: >12000 Points in 3DMark2001. This adjustment is ABSOLUTELY STABLE!

2,64GHz and Gogl 700 @ 290/580 MHz: >12500 Points in 3DMark2001. This adjustment is stable for one cycle 3DMark. Then the components get too hot...
Moreover the soundcard won´t function any more because of too high fsb!

But i think very good results for a over 2 years old laptop!

Is it fairly easy to change the video card on an Inspiron 8200? I didn't know you could change the cpu as well... I always thought everything was soldered to the mother board. Silly me.
