Motorola C115. Sure, it doesn't have all the tech goodies like MP3 player, organizer, internet/bluetooth connection and the like but it does the two things I bought and needed it for: talking and text messaging.

funny reactions?? i dont like flip open phones otherwise wud have gone for RAZR. SLVR is the best looking phone imo. but skimps on features. has itunes, but sound quality is bad, vga cam. but all these r gimmiks and just fun to use on the side. unless they come up with an -all in one device tht comes close to the sound quality of an ipod or a phone camera with a arnd 4-5 megs.

other then tht its a fingerprint magnet, speaker is on the back so sound is muted. just nitpicks really.

Nokia 2220 (had to look it up)


it recieves calls, makes calls, sends & recieves short messages and has a blue screen & fits in my pocket. What else could I want.

Yeah, it looks great - I thought SE had just given up on the P9xx series so I couldn't believe it when I found out about the P990 which seemed to be everything you could realistically want. Just a shame it's not out for so long, it should really be out now plus I'm also annoyed Sony have announced yet another proprietary memory card standard as they seemed to be bending towards SD (the TX has an SD card reader, the PS3 is supposed to as well) but sadly not.

currently i'm using a LG VX8000... it does what it's supposed to do, though the whole 'point' of it is vcast, which i refuse to pay $15/month for, so it's somewhat underutilized. my next phone will hopefully be the XV6700 if i stay with verizon, if i switch to cingular it'll most likely be the 8125.

Can a guy ask for a cell phone that just does one thing well? I just want my phone to just make clean, distortion-free phone calls. Oh, and last a long time on-air in the process.
If I want a digital camera, I'd get one--with superior optics to boot.
If I want internet access, I'd get a laptop--oh wait I have one. None of this see-the-internet-on-320x200 crap.
If I want an mp3 player....wait, I'm wavering on this one...
You get the picture.

Anyone know if there is such a beast out there? Pretty much just a phone, but it lasts practically forever on battery.

Oh, and I currently have a Nokia 32xx something or other. It's pretty close to the list above, but I'm disliking that my keys and screen are exposed while I'm carrying it around.

I wanna know what sasuke_808 uses. Is it the most high tech Japanese phone that will do your laundry and cook your breakfast while giving you a massage? Or one of those Chinese phones that are so tiny they are practically microscopic? Either way I'll be he's got his cast in solid gold with platinum keys....

Sidekick II and The Sidekick III is supposed to be out this in april with I HOPE IT IS becuase my contract is up then so I get discounts on phones, If it doesnt come out Im gonna switch to verizon and get the Treo 650.

why not just get an unlocked 650 and keep using it with Tmobile?
