Well I've been thinking. I've shyed away from the 8204 because of the various complaints I've heard(like a bad screen) and just realised that a Ferrari would be a decent option. It has a good build quality like the Sony and is similarily priced.
In terms of performance...what difference would I see going from
1.83GHz Duo to 2.2 GHz Turion 64
I can't tell if I'll gain or lose performance.
I know I'll gain performance going from Geforce 7400 to X700 Mobility.
The Ferrari also has several more outputs like DVI.
How much battery life would I lose going from 3.5 hoursish on the SZ to the Ferrari(wifi + word + firefox open)?
I know one obvious difference is size and weight....but I've already considered that otherwise I wouldn't be making this thread.
