Centrino v. p4 w/ HT

Thread Starter
What will be the difference that i will be able to see if i go with a 1.7 centrino (lets say an i8600) or a p4 w/ HT (lets say a 5150)? Will the "power" be that much more and how will it show itself? If p4 w/ HT IS that much better and worth it, how does the i8600 compare with some of the Sagens (have not looked at them at all) and how is the Sagen warranty? Thanks.

For mobile use the P4 is a terrible cpu. It generates too much heat and eats way too much power for it to be in a laptop. but if power is all you need then this is your choice chip.
