Can I use a Mobile IntelĀ® PentiumĀ® 4 Processor - M in the 8790? This the old design with SpeedStep Technology. It uses the same socket as the desktop processors. Will it run? Is the SpeedStep Technology supported by the 8790? Maybe this is an impossible way? Info here:

I personally don't think you can, but you might want to email Clevo, Sager or one of the other resellers to get an official confirmation.

Roger, how long have you have your machine? Sounds like you just got your new toy.

Got this machine since last tuesday. It has been running as a demo. Good price helped. Well, it is about as noisy as my current desktop. Problem is that I sometimes will be using it for recording music in quiet surroundings. Way back from the musicans well do the trick. You to guys seems to know much about this notebook. I will keep on asking you for advice, if you do not mind...

I think we all love our machines (when they work). And that "when they work" is the imperative part of the equation. Definitely fussy in certain ways, so you'll have to stay on top of things in order to make sure you have a good running machine. Once things start going downhill, it's very frustrating. Hopefully you can learn from our mistakes and save yourself the troubles that many of us have endured.
