Monitoring options on 8887

What would be a good monitoring system for the 8887? I downloaded Motherboard Monitor and also Motherboard meter, but neither one works. Motheroboard meter says to check if my hardware is ACPI compliant, which according to Sager documentation, it is. Any ideas?
Oh yeah, one other problem...I cannot search this forum...I did one, and from that point on it gives me a page cannot be displayed error.
