888X won't boot

P4, 2.4, 1 gig mem

We had an electricl storm the other night and now this Sager will not boot. Power is OK, fans run but nothing else.

WIN XP Pro and I cannot find my boot disk.

What are your recommendations?

I even let the battery fully discharge, let it recharge and still no action. I usually run it with AC, battery installed.

PS This old Compaq C666, 198 megs RAM, WIN 98se seems to run faster than the SAGER!!!

Since I did not get a reply here, last night I got the Phillips' number out of the FAQ.

Good thing I phoned as the warranty expires tomorrow.

They issued a claim number and are sending via FedEx a shipping box, shipping label, claims form and packing instructions.

I look forward to a fully functional Sager 888x that I bought used from a member here.

Well, this Sager 888e is back from warranty repair and it is working fine.

The logic board was the issue.

It's good to have this computer working again.
