There are perhaps a few things that can be done. Here are my recommendations:
1- Power off and clean the unit's venting ports & fans with a can of compressed air. Air blown into the unit from any other source is not recommended.
2- Download and install the latest 4-in-1 via chipset driver.
3- Download and run Mobile meter to monitor the temperatures of the CPU and the internal hard drive. Let us know what it reads for each.
4- Perform a memory check with memtest x86. You can download the ISO from the web and burn it to a CD. Run test #5 only if you do not want to wait for the entire test sequence to execute. Let us know what you observe.
