Finally give up

I was happy with my E1705, except the screen.

After talking to dell over phone for hours, getting a LCD exchange, getting a whole system replacement, I give up.

I had the XGA screen, it really sucks.

Ordered an E1505. Selling my 17" on ebay....

What type of screen did you get for the E1505? And why do you expect it to be better? Just curious because I am relatively similar situation...

wSxga on 1505 is going to be tons better than the xga on the 1705!

enjoy. you get TL or not?

i prefer not having it on mine

I got TL. But I only got XGA with TL.

I think they should be able to make 15" LCD perfect, otherwise ...

I got XGA with Truelife. I missed the screen on my 700m. My friend has a 6000 with truelife, i think it's ok.

The 15.5 on my 9100 and the one on my D800 are definately better looking then the 17 on my 9300. But I still prefer the 9300 over all.
