My MSFS 2004 has been uninstalled for 2 years now. I was thinking of installing it again.

I saw that plane fly at an airshow down at McDill AFB Florida about 20 years ago and I swear that was the loudest plane (full afterburner, low altitude fly-by) I ever heard in my life!!! It was awesome!!!!!!

I use FS2002 Professional.

I am a single/mutli VFR&IFR rated pilot. I enjoy using the flight sim to stay sharp on approaches and holds.

It pisses me off when the ATC cancels my flight plan when I don't respond quickly.

Let's just hope that FS:X coming out with Vista doesn't REQUIRE Vista.
No ,I read that it doesn't require Vista, but you get optimum use from it (whatever that means).

x-plane for me.......gotta find a christchurch to mcmurdo scenery mod so i can fly to work. i envy you real flyboys, i have to ride in the back although i have been up to the cockpit for about an hour before landing......antarctica from the cockpit is simply amazing.

I hope you meen with someone cause in order to fly such an aircraft such as a kingair you need your pilots, instrument, and multi-engine licenses, as well as a type rating in the King Air. Also, if I am not mistaken that plane requires a copilot as well.

MacDill?? Heck, I grew up in Tampa, just 2 miles up the street.

It's funny, we regularly set off car alarms just doing normal takeoffs at my home base. But about the loudest thing I ever heard a B-1B do was when I was at Nellis for flag. We did simultaneous takeoffs on the parallel runways. I wasn't flying that day, so we took a car and decided to hang out at the end of the runways, between them.

That was a mistake...I think 5% of my cumulative hearing loss was done in that day! It was like God's own jet engine out there! The vibrations so shook the car, I was happy it didn't crack any of the windows! We actually got physically ill....

Later on (near the end of my time flying it), we got a briefing that the tails were wearing out prematurely. The engine noise at full afterburner at takeoff was bouncing off the runway, and back into the tail, causing severe vibrations. We started working on mil power takeoff data...I'm not sure if they did any mods or reinforcement stringers.

I think about the only thing louder would have been underneath my flight path when I did the supersonic run...considering there were 2 of us. After the target run, it was a 'who gets to the border wins'...and damn if I was going to lose....

Ah, the days...

OMG! I LOVE THAT GAME! Haven't played 5 yet though, and didn't get to play all the way through 4, I only had it like 6 months before it got destroyed.

the loudest plane I ever heard was a vulcan

the coolest jet was A-10 doing mock combat rolls at low altitude in england

the coolest prop was an "iron annie" stopped en route to states museum

the most frightened i have been is when en route out poaching (sneaking onto private land) for salmon in scotland, when a tornado suddenly appears BENEATH us in the valley. Didnt hear a thing until the last moment. Low flying restrictions be damned!

the king air needs a copilot, you have to fly it with somebody

As for FS add-ons, I have only PMDG products. I have the 1900D, 1900C, 737NG series, and 747. All of them are great!!
I like the LDS 767 and soon the 757.
By the way, how the hell do you pressureize the cabin in the 1900 as I have FS passengers and I nearly killed them on a trip as I went above 10,000 feet, and got a message that what I did was just criminal!

LDS 767? Is that the wonderfully accurate commercial 767 program?
I think I have it somewhere, but never got around to try it.
It's so frustrating when trying to do what you normally do and nothing works.

I was going to get the LDS767 as I originally had the 767PIC for previous FS versions. However, with being at school and doing real flying, I just don't play FS as much. I didn't even buy the PMDG747. My friend and I traded. I gave him the 737s and 1900D and he gave me the 747 and 1900C.

As for the cabin pressurization, on the 1900D you can't do anything about it. On the 1900C I'm not too sure as I've only used the plane once.

It's one of those planes you have to read the manual to if you haven't had something that complicated before. Takes a while to learn but once you've done startup to shutdown a few times it will come natural to you.

I loved F-22 ADF, but it's so old. I tried Lock-On, but didn't like it. Is there a new flightsim like F22 ADF? Fun and easy, but not totaly arcade.
