Noob help..

Well I want to get a notebook but I dont know much about em and im sure you all can give me some pointers or suggestions on them.im looking to spend aroung $1200 and will be mainly useing it for web browsing and school work. ive been looking at the E1505 and the 6000 whats better the dual? or the regular pentium M i can not decide any help or info would be great thanks.. oh and do the dell coupons apply to those notebooks??

Core Duo is the way of future... There were some sweet E1705 deals in the Dell Outlet for around $1,200, I don't know if they're still there.

I'm in love with the XPS m140.. the widescreen is awesome. great size and portability, perfect size for that matter.
