LOL @ ES. HH really would make a good guardian of the AW boards. Granted I would be his first ban. I don't mind taking one for the team. It does not diminsh his suitability for the position. Just because you freeball under yer kilt does not mean you can drip ball sweat over my poasts

An AW mod would need to be someone who spends most their time at the AW forums guys. This group is a full-time endeavor.

The reasons I think Hammerhead would be good:

1) He knows Alienware systems and their history like nobody else I've seen

2) Yes, he is protective of AW, but he is always factual in his ripping of trolls - a good quality for a mod

3) He has a good sense of humour, but doesn't appreciate things going too far - probably a good thing for our community

Just my 2 cents - wanted to back up my vote. And note to EVIL - I've nothing to gain for supporting Hammerhead here I do have to admit, I will be the first to sign up to any forum where EVIL-SCOTSMAN is a mod

I was an admin (not mod) of coolsurfin.net which was a very popular bb back in 1997. Under my great command it sunk into nothingness. I would do the same here

Thank you all for your comments and support, but I think I'm a bit harsh to be a mod. The staff here does a tremendous job, and are very level headed the vast majority of the time. I probably could become more responsible and calm, but that would take a lot of the fun out of forums for me... I wouldn't be able to punch the trolls anymore.

I mostly appreciate that some of you recognize that my troll bashing is usually warranted as it bothers me sometimes when I'm accused of tearing into someone for no reason. I usually try to return only the attitude I'm given, but I'm not always successful at that... just ask Durden...

I don't know if I'd ban you DB, but I'd guess I'd have to get a second monitor just to keep track of some of your more 'imaginative' posts...

I'd call it the Jagermonitor.

I've always admired the mods here for their ability to maintain their cool and temperment while dealing with disruptions. I can't say I'd be as lenient as they have proven to be.

It would be great to be able to pull the plug on some troublemakers though, I'd imagine the flood of Dell trolls would become less than a trickle overnight...

I am one of the leaders of my Clan . Being a mod can be a pain , especialy when people break rules as you don't have the option of playing favorites . I have had to come down hard on people I generally like or consider friends . HH I feel you would be a good mod , you are an intelligent person and I believe you'd be fair in your judgements and in how you deal with problems .
