Well I finally got my 7800 installed. Pretty impressed with it so far. Turned all my WoW settings up high and am still getting higher fps than before.
Here are some benchmarks I ran quickly. These are without any overclocking, and with all my background processes running -->
3dmark06 --> 3579
3dmark05--> 4979 (this one I'm surprised with because I scored about 4400 with my OC 6800 Go)
3dmark03--> 11755
3dmark01--> 24017
After playing WoW for about 2 hours the highest recorded temp was 63 (so in fact about 67) and right now I'm idling at 48 (so in fact about 52). I did however apply ceramique before installing the card.
Oh, as a side note, when I was installing the card, I noticed the shim around the GPU is quite high. I suspect by removing the shim, the heatsink would make better contact with the core, and thus lower temps. I know myself and other people used to do that with the old 9800 pro. Just a thought.
