wont fit if its out of a 9400. they are different cards. the x1400 that COMES with a 6400 is smaller. or form factor is laid out different

oops, i meant that the x1400 in the 6400 won't fit in the 6000 chassis? is the x1400 bigger in size than the x300?

it "should" fit, but the bios probably doesnt support it.

this has been posted so much, its ridiculous.
it comes down to two things with this kinda stuff. hardware limitations (in this case size, and space), and software limitations. from what i can tell, the only thing limiting the switch is a supporting bios.
