Ieee 1394 ?

The firewire inputs on the 9750 . . . are they 800 or 400, I can not seem to find that info out anywhere. I am getting an external HD and if it is firewire 800 i will get a drive that uses that faster spec, if not I probably wont (the 400 looks better than the 800 ).

I don't see any speeds either. But it is a 4 pin connector so it has a chance of being 800.

The Clevo website states states that they are 1394a ports:

。2x Mini IEEE1394a ports

also, linux identifies it as 1394a as well:

00:06.0 FireWire (IEEE 1394): Texas Instruments TSB43AB22/A IEEE-1394a-2000 Controller


So that would mean 400.
