I think I am just going to return it and wait til they come out with something better in terms of video card options.
How much did you pay for that system of yours?

With the recent 25% off outlet coupons, I managed to configure up a 2.0Ghz Core Duo, WUXGA screen, 256mb nVidia7800GO, 1GB RAM, 80GB 5400 RPM HD, all of that for $1350 (excluding tax and shipping).

That could be a good option? 'Cept you'd have to look for it, I found that one early in the morning...around 4 AM? Yeah.

I only paid $1430 for the system I've got and it has the Core Duo, 1GB RAM, 60GB HD, 7800go, and a three year warranty plus CompleteCare. After I get this one returned I'll probably check out the outlet, maybe use some of those coupons that are around.

You wanna hurry though, seriously, I showed you what I managed to get early in the morning, I'm sure they're running out of em. I say return this machine and look at one of those, most of them are faster than the T2300 you got.

Warranty might take the dough slightly up, but if I managed to get that with the 25% off coupon, I'm sure you will too.

Is my GPU temperature normal? - In idle the temperature is from 71C to 82C: fan turns on at 82C and off at 71C. Time it takes to rise from 71 to 82 is about 3 mins. Room temperature is below 20C.

When running 3DMark06, after end of the bench temperature is ~73C since fan is on.
Driver is ForceWare 84.12, no overclocking.
