You know what really stinks is I purchased the 1GB CAS 3 Corsair a week ago and it cost me $70 x 2 + $10 shipping = $150. I laughed because I know the rebate would not come until after 2 or 3 months or so. So I am ok. But for someone building a new system this is a dynamite price.

Oh, to have 4 GB of RAM. I just wish I had an extra $119 around at the moment.

You will have to shell out $159 not $119 and wait for the rebate.

Nice deal if you're willing to wait for a rebate.

After reading a few reviews on Newegg.com some AMD users are not getting the advertised CAS 2 latency. Apparently this RAM is either CAS 2.5 or some mobo's are screwy...so buy it accordingly. To me the CAS 3 Valueram I got is good enough as I am a casual gamer and I got it at a good price without the need for waiting for a rebate.
