Watching VCD

Hi all!

I have a n XPS2 with NEC DVD burner player double layer. Does anyone know how I can watch a VCD?? Do i need to download any special software?

As far as I know, it will work fine with what you've got. Someone gave me a film on VCD once and it worked in Windows Media Player.

Thanks for your quick reply. How do you play it in WMA? it doesn't play automatically when i put the vcd in. When i tried to open the file from WMA i don't really know file to open. I tried Dell MEdia Experience but that too doens't play the vcd automatically.

you can explore the cd and play the .dat files using window media player, or u can download nero showtime and itll play it
