My wife ROCKS!
She finished the case wrap on Or10n.
Here are the pictures and also what I do to Linux. The last shot is
of me trying to get Kismet working on SuSe 9.0 (I had it working honest now have issues with the card detecting)

Thankfully, someone creative has way too much time on his/her hands and an understanding (supportive even) wife. Looks fabulous.

It is not a replacement. it is a case wrap (a big sticker). You put it on then in painstaking precision you cut around the areas that need to be seen. It took her over 2 hours to complete it. Let’s just say she got a back rub and I now have to take care of my son why she gets to go out to the mall today.

That looks sweet! And you're far more trusting than I ever would be. Even if my wife were that talented, she wouldn't come anywhere near my Sager!!

Trust me I was sweating every second. There were a couple of times she sent me away from hovering over her shoulder. In the end though as you can see it was worth it.

Man that was worth the back rub and having to look after the offspring .
Totally awesome dude .

I just noticed you use of the unused finger print scanner depression in the top right hand corner. For all those with significant others what a great place to stick their photo.

Is that what it's for? Darn I wish I could have gotten that I have a pc card one that I am using. Well live and learn. BTW I wish I could say I am that much of a devoted husband but the picture is of Motoko from Shirows' "Ghost in the Shell"

You know, it is possible to be too obsessed with anime for your own good...just look at Piro from MegaTokyo...
It is rumoured that a finger print scanner is what that little depression is for. I figured it is too small to fit a coffee cup so it would not make sense to reroute the heat sink underneath it thus keeping the coffee hot. But having a pic of one's loved cat/dog/anime/wife/husband/kids whatever makes it almost useful.

Nothing major it is SuSe 9.0 Linux with KDE 3.1 I have xeyes, world watch, kweather, etc... I have always considered myself a GUI hacker (making windows look like Linux & Linux like a Mac) now I have the osX dock bar (super Karamba to be precise) working with KDE now it looks really cool. If I do say so myself. If you would like to see how I have it now let me know. I will take a screen shot of it.
